Fantasy Wars US Tournament Winners Announced
2008-03-25 - 1C Company and 1C: Ino-Co are happy to announce the winners of the Fantasy Wars US Tournament.
- First place - Brandon Wallace. Brandon beat “The King and the General” level within 4 turns, 4 quests finished, 6 kills, 2 losses.
- Second place - Steven Brown (9 turns, 4 quests finished, 21 kills, 0 losses).
- Third place - Rickey Lattie (10 turns, 19 kills, 1 loss).

The winning Contestant will receive a fully custom-painted Fantasy Wars PC case from Smooth Creations. This case started life as the award winning Cosmos 1000 case from Cooler Master. We then added a special front door you can’t buy in a store and had it painted by the world famous artists at Smooth Creations. The art work is all original designs straight from the developers of Fantasy Wars. This is one of a kind case!

2007-12-13 - Fantasy Wars received 7.5 out of 10 on Gamespot.
The review mentions that "Fantasy Wars is aimed at veteran gamers who remember the days before the real-time
revolution. But more than just nostalgia buffs will appreciate its intricate mission design, detailed units,
and outstanding interface. It sure helps if you're old enough to have played such classics as Fantasy General

IGN published a review of turn-based strategy Fantasy Wars. "A great use of terrain, decent number of units,
and large number of unit upgrades make the strategic decision about where and when to attack both important and
interesting. The turn countdown is a decent idea as well and forces players out into the field a little quicker,
but can tend to cut off the chance to fully explore a map in some cases", says the review.
Fantasy Wars US Tournament
2007-12-03 - 1C Company starts the US tournament dedicated to the new award-winning game Fantasy Wars.
The tournament begins at midnight, December 3, 2007 and ends at midnight, January 21, 2008.

Simply beat the "The King and the General" level in the fewest moves. 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive
stylish T-Shirts and a copy of one of the 1C’s recent releases.
Player's skill will be determined by looking at the following criteria:
- Difficulty level.
- The amount of turns made.
- The execution of additional quests.
- Towns and fortresses captured.
- Your army's losses.
- Your enemies' losses.
- Money balance.

2007-10-24 - Fantasy Wars scored 9 out of 10 in Fantasy World magazine. "Ino-Co managed to create an interesting,
rich project of very high quality standards that old-school veterans and newbie gamers will definitely enjoy" comments
the author. "Good game balance and well thought-out missions' structure give an opportunity to smash up enemy units
with numerical superiority in comparison with your own army."
Among other advantages of the game the magazine mentions interesting and well-balanced missions, wide opportunities

2007-09-24 - Fantasy Wars scored 85% out of 100 and gained the Editor's Choice Award again. Famous Russian magazine Game World
Navigator (www.gamenavigator.ru) published the review on the game and the gameplay video can be found on its DVD.
"The significance of Fantasy Wars to hexagonal games can hardly be overrated" writes Navigator. "We received a chance to bring
the popularity of forgotten genre of Turn-based Strategies back."

2007-09-19 - The leading Russian gaming portal Absolute Games (AG.ru) has posted a review of Fantasy Wars. The game has received
an overall score of 85% out of 100 and an Editor's Choice Award.
"You fall in love with this game at the very first sight" points out AG.ru. Fantasy Wars is described as "the most colorful
turn-based strategy ever created" which "deserves being the successor of Fantasy General."
